Bob Clark started his scout experience in the early 70’s achieving Eagle Scout with Troop #60, Susquenango Council NY. As an adult He has held positions of Asst. Scoutmaster, Scoutmaster, Tiger Cub Group Coach, Webelos Den Leader and Cub Scout Committee Chair. He was even a registered Junior and Cadette Girl Scout leader for the Genesee Valley Council. Later on, Bob was a part of the Saratoga District Advancement Committee, Turning Point Unit Commissioner and Activities Chair. He has been a member of the Order of the Arrow since 1974, achieving Vigil Honor in 1992. In 2024, Bob attended Wood Badge to expand on his leadership experience. Bob recently completed the BSA National Camp school in preparation for opening up Camp Wakpominee to Scout Resident Camp. Bob is looking forward to many adventure-filled weeks of Summer Camp and Adventure Treks in 2025 and beyond at Camp Wakpominee.
Frank Winters
Resident Camp Program Director
Frank’s scouting story started in the Syracuse area where he earned his eagle in 1980. Father of two eagle scouts, his scouting experiences shaped his careers as a cartographer and geographer, as well as his passion for paddling, camping, skiing, and mountain biking. Frank has served as an assistant scoutmaster in troop 4054 – Ballston, NY for 18 years. More recently he was selected to the Scouting America Wheels and Boards Committee and teaches the National Camp School Trek Leader Program. Outside of scouting Frank is an author, mountain bike coach and canoe racer.
